  • 1 tube 8 ounces refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup of apple pie filling finely chopped into bite-sized chunks.
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • Cooking spray or additional melted butter for greasing

  • Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet by either greasing it lightly or lining it with parchment paper.
  • Prepare the Cinnamon Sugar: Combine the sugar and cinnamon in a tiny bowl, stirring them together, then set it aside.
  • Prepare the Crescent Roll Dough: Carefully unwrap the crescent roll dough and cut it into separate triangular pieces.
  • Fill the Dough: Place a small spoonful (about 1–2 teaspoons) of chopped apple pie filling in the center of each triangle. Carefully fold the dough corners over the filling, pressing the edges together to form a tight seal. Shape each portion into a round ball.
  • Coat with Butter and Cinnamon Sugar: Brush each dough ball with melted butter. Roll the butter-coated balls in the cinnamon sugar mixture, ensuring they’re evenly coated.
  • Bake: Place the apple pie bites on the prepared baking sheet, with the sealed side facing down. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the dough has puffed up and turned a golden brown.
