Welcome to our simple and sweet dessert recipe, the Enchanted Rose & Pearl Dessert. This easy-to-make treat mixes the creamy taste of milk with a little sweetness from condensed milk, a hint of rose, and fun textures from sago pearls, basil seeds, and strawberry jelly. We top it off with crunchy pistachios and almonds. It’s perfect for any special event or a relaxing day at home. Let’s start making this delicious dessert together and enjoy a taste that’s as magical as its name.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Liter of whole milk
  • 1/4 cup of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup of rose-flavored syrup (as a substitute for Rob afza)
  • 1 cup of sago pearls (tapioca pearls)
  • Strawberry-flavored gelatin dessert (prepared according to package instructions)
  • 2 teaspoons of basil seeds
  • A handful of pistachios, roughly chopped
  • A handful of almonds, roughly chopped

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Sago Pearls:
    • Rinse the sago pearls under cold water until the water runs clear.
    • In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the sago pearls. Cook them on medium heat until they become translucent and soft, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. This usually takes about 15-20 minutes.
    • Once cooked, drain the sago pearls and rinse them under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.
  2. Hydrate the Basil Seeds:
    • In a small bowl, soak the basil seeds in enough water to cover them. They will swell and become gel-like in about 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  3. Prepare the Strawberry Gelatin:
    • Prepare the strawberry-flavored gelatin according to the package instructions. Pour into a shallow dish to set. Once set, cut into small cubes. Set aside.
  4. Mix the Milk Mixture:
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole milk and sweetened condensed milk. Stir well until fully incorporated.
    • Add the rose-flavored syrup to the milk mixture and mix well. Adjust the sweetness according to your taste.
  5. Combine All Ingredients:
    • Add the cooked sago pearls, hydrated basil seeds, and cubed strawberry gelatin to the milk mixture. Stir gently to combine everything evenly.
  6. Chill:
    • Cover the bowl and refrigerate the mixture for at least 2 hours, allowing the flavors to meld and the dessert to chill thoroughly.
  7. Serve:
    • Just before serving, garnish the dessert with chopped pistachios and almonds for a crunchy texture and a nutty flavor.
    • Serve in individual bowls or glasses for a visually appealing presentation.

Enjoy this refreshing and unique dessert, perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth while offering a delightful array of textures and flavors.
