  • In a small bowl, whisk together sweet rice flour and ½ cup of gluten-free broth until smooth. Set it aside.
  • In a small pot, melt 3 tablespoons of butter or warm your pan drippings over medium heat.
  • Once the butter is melted or drippings are heated, whisk the sweet rice flour mixture into the pot. Stir for 1-2 minutes.
  • Slowly pour in 1 cup of gluten-free broth while whisking constantly.
  • Gradually add the remaining broth, whisking until the gravy reaches desired thickness, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Stir in salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings to taste. Allow to simmer before serving.

Notes

Use a flat whisk to prevent lumps and always choose good quality gluten-free broth for the best flavor.
