  • Cook the Shrimp: Heat the olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the shrimp lightly with salt and pepper, then sauté until pink and fully cooked, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  • Prepare the Sauce: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth or white wine to deglaze the pan, scraping up any flavorful bits stuck to the bottom.
  • Make it Creamy: Lower the heat to medium-low and stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes (if using). Let the sauce simmer gently for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens slightly.
  • Combine and Serve: Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy garlic sauce. Simmer for 2 more minutes to meld the flavors.
  • Garnish and Enjoy: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and adjust the seasoning with more salt or pepper if needed. Serve hot over your favorite accompaniment like pasta, rice, or crusty bread.
