Ingredients
  

For the Dressing:

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 ½ tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

For the Salad:

  • 1 ⅓ lbs broccoli florets finely chopped into bite-sized pieces
  • 8 slices crispy cooked bacon chopped
  • cup chopped red onion
  • ½ cup sweetened dried cranberries
  • cup sliced almonds

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, granulated sugar, apple cider vinegar, and black pepper until smooth and well combined. Set aside.
  • Chop the broccoli: Finely chop the broccoli florets into bite-sized pieces. You want the pieces small enough to easily mix with the other ingredients and absorb the dressing.
  • Cook the bacon: If not already done, cook the bacon until crispy.
  • Assemble the salad: In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped broccoli, bacon, red onion, dried cranberries, and sliced almonds.
  • Add the dressing: Pour the dressing over the salad ingredients and toss until everything is well coated.
  • Chill and serve: Cover the salad and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld together. Serve chilled and enjoy!
