  • Start by gathering and prepping all ingredients for the Korean Ground Beef Bowl. While your rice cooks according to package instructions—usually about 15–20 minutes—finely chop the garlic, ginger, and green onions. Make sure to reserve a few sliced green onions for garnish.
  • In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Once the oil shimmers, add the minced garlic and grated ginger. Sauté for about 30 seconds, stirring constantly until fragrant but not browned.
  • Increase the heat to medium-high and add the lean ground beef to the skillet. Using a spatula, break it apart as it cooks for approximately 5 minutes or until fully browned.
