Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cups cauliflower florets
  • 1/2 cup red onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey optional
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup cooked bacon crumbled (optional)
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds or slivered almonds optional

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Vegetables: In a large mixing bowl, combine the broccoli florets, cauliflower florets, finely chopped red onion, and shredded carrots. Toss to mix the vegetables evenly.
  • Make the Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, and honey (if using).
  • Combine Salad and Dressing: Pour the dressing over the vegetable mixture and gently toss until the vegetables are evenly coated.
  • Add Toppings: Fold in the crumbled bacon and sunflower seeds or slivered almonds for added crunch. Adjust seasoning if needed.
  • Serve or Chill: You can serve the salad immediately or cover it and refrigerate for 30 minutes to let the flavors meld. Serve chilled.
