- 1 tube Pillsbury refrigerated pizza dough
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 12 slices Italian salami
- 16 slices pepperoni
- 1 1/4 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley
Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Roll out the dough: Unroll the pizza dough onto the prepared baking sheet, stretching it slightly into a rectangle.
Layer the ingredients: Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving about an inch of space around the edges. Layer the salami and pepperoni slices evenly over the sauce, followed by the shredded mozzarella cheese.
Roll up the stromboli: Carefully roll the dough from one long side to the other, creating a log. Pinch the ends to seal the stromboli, and place it seam-side down on the baking sheet.
Add egg wash and seasoning: Brush the top of the stromboli with the beaten egg to give it a golden, shiny finish. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning, grated Parmesan cheese, and fresh chopped parsley.
Bake: Place the stromboli in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and crispy.
Cool and serve: Let the stromboli rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.
