- 2 ½ tbsp olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- 1 red onion finely sliced
- 7 handfuls of shredded green cabbage
- ½ - ¾ cup shredded parmesan
- Salt and pepper to taste
Heat the Oil: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Add the Onion: Stir in the sliced red onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until it softens and begins to caramelize.
Cook the Cabbage: Add the shredded green cabbage to the skillet, tossing well to coat in the oil and mix with the garlic and onion. Cook for 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender and slightly golden.
Season and Add Parmesan: Season with salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle the shredded parmesan over the cabbage, stir to combine, and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the cheese melts and coats the cabbage evenly.
