  • Prepare the marinade by whisking together soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil in a medium bowl. Add chopped green onions, black pepper, and optional chili flakes.
  • Thinly slice the chicken into strips, about 1/4 inch thick. Marinate the chicken in the prepared marinade for at least 20 minutes at room temperature or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a splash of oil. Pour in the marinated chicken in a single layer, allowing it to cook evenly.
  • Cook the chicken for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until golden brown and fully cooked. Internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C).
