Seafood:
- 1 lb salmon fillets cut into bite-sized pieces
Produce:
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
Condiments:
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
Baking & Spices:
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds optional, for garnish
Prepare the Salmon: Pat the salmon pieces dry with paper towels and season them lightly with salt and pepper.
Make the Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Set aside.
Sear the Salmon: Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Add the salmon pieces, skin-side down if applicable, and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove the salmon from the pan and set aside.
Cook the Garlic: In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add the remaining butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
Add the Glaze: Pour the honey-soy mixture into the skillet and let it simmer for 1–2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it slightly thickens.
Glaze the Salmon: Return the salmon bites to the skillet, gently tossing them in the glaze to ensure they are evenly coated. Cook for an additional 1–2 minutes.
Garnish and Serve: Transfer the salmon bites to a serving plate. Garnish with fresh parsley and sesame seeds for an extra touch of flavor and presentation. Serve hot.
