- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 120 g cream cheese softened
- 100 g fresh spinach chopped
- 4 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 60 g shredded mozzarella cheese
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
Prepare the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts on a cutting board and season with salt and pepper on both sides. Using a sharp knife, make 5-6 slits across each chicken breast, being careful not to cut all the way through.
Make the Filling: In a medium bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, chopped spinach, crumbled bacon, and garlic powder until well combined.
Stuff the Chicken: Spoon the cream cheese mixture into each slit on the chicken breasts, pressing gently to ensure the filling stays in place. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the tops of the chicken breasts.
Bake the Chicken: Place the stuffed chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F or 74°C) and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve: Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Pair with a side of vegetables, rice, or salad for a complete meal.
