Ingredients
  

For the Balsamic Vinaigrette:

  • 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 garlic clove grated or minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

For the Pear Salad:

  • 1/2 small red onion thinly sliced
  • 5 oz arugula
  • 3 pears any variety, thinly sliced
  • 4 to 5 oz goat cheese crumbled
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup pecans toasted and cooled

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Balsamic Vinaigrette : In a small bowl or jar, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, garlic, sea salt, and black pepper until well combined. Set aside.
