- 1 bag 25 oz of fresh or frozen ravioli (use your favorite – Italian sausage recommended)
- 12 oz marinara sauce
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 1 1/2 cups shredded parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley for garnish
Prepare the Bake:
In a large baking dish, spread half of the marinara sauce evenly on the bottom.
Layer the ravioli (fresh or frozen) on top of the marinara sauce.
Spread the fresh spinach evenly over the ravioli.
Add Sauce and Cheese:
Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the spinach and ravioli, ensuring everything is coated.
Sprinkle the shredded parmesan cheese generously over the top of the marinara sauce.
Season and Bake:
Add fresh cracked black pepper on top of the cheese for seasoning.
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes if using fresh ravioli, or 30 minutes if using frozen.
Uncover and Finish:
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
Once out of the oven, garnish with fresh chopped parsley for a pop of color and added flavor.
