Ingredients

  • 4 large Honeycrisp apples cubed (see notes)
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 ribs celery thinly sliced
  • 1 cup seedless red grapes halved
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries

Instructions

  • Prepare the Apples: Cube the Honeycrisp apples, leaving the peel on for extra color and crunch. Drizzle the lemon juice over the cubed apples and gently toss to coat. This prevents the apples from browning and adds a slight tang to the salad.
  • Make the Dressing: In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise and brown sugar until smooth. This sweet and creamy dressing binds the salad ingredients together while adding a light sweetness.
  • Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, add the cubed apples, celery, halved grapes, chopped pecans, and dried cranberries. Pour the dressing over the mixture and toss gently until everything is evenly coated.
  • Chill and Serve: For best flavor, refrigerate the salad for 15–30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld together. Serve chilled and enjoy this refreshing, crunchy salad!
