  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs or panko
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika optional, for added flavor
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Mixture : In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, bread crumbs, mayonnaise, egg, onion, garlic, parsley, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix until evenly combined. Be careful not to overmix to maintain a tender texture.
  • Shape the Patties : Using your hands or a scoop, divide the mixture into 8-10 equal portions and shape them into patties about 3 inches in diameter.
  • Heat the Oil : Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Ensure the oil is hot enough for frying but not smoking.
  • Fry the Chicken Cakes : Place the patties in the skillet, leaving enough space between them. Cook each side for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Avoid overcrowding the pan.
  • Drain and Serve : Remove the patties from the skillet and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or alongside a fresh salad.
