Ingredients
  

For the Chicken:

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup milk

For Seasoning:

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt

For Garnish:

  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Coating : Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish or line a sheet pan with parchment paper. In a shallow bowl, pour the milk. In another shallow dish, combine the panko breadcrumbs, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create the coating.
  • Coat the Chicken : Dip each chicken breast into the milk, ensuring it’s evenly coated. Press the chicken firmly into the cheddar breadcrumb mixture, coating both sides generously. Pat the coating onto the chicken to help it stick.
  • Bake the Chicken : Place the coated chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish or sheet pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the crust is golden brown and crispy. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Garnish and Serve : Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color and added freshness.
