  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 5 strips of bacon
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onion
  • 1/2 cup quartered cherry tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts lightly with salt and pepper. Remove from the skillet and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before cutting it into bite-sized pieces.
  • Cook the Bacon: In the same pan, fry the bacon pieces until they turn golden and crispy, releasing all their flavorful oils. Place the cooked bacon on a paper towel-lined plate to remove excess grease, then crumble it into smaller pieces.
  • Combine the Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix the chopped chicken, crumbled bacon, cherry tomatoes, and green onions.
  • Make the Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise and black pepper. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  • Assemble the Salad: Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss thoroughly, ensuring each ingredient is perfectly coated with the flavors.
