  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 8 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped

  • Prepare the Chicken: Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Warm the olive oil in a spacious skillet over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
  • Cook the Chicken: Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Transfer the chicken from the skillet to a plate and keep it aside for now.
  • Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce: In the same skillet, add the butter and let it melt over medium heat. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1 to 2 minutes until it becomes aromatic, taking care to avoid burning it.
  • Create the Sauce Base: Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Incorporate the Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, mixing until the cheese has melted and the sauce is creamy. Let the sauce simmer for 3 to 4 minutes, allowing it to thicken a bit.
  • Combine Chicken and Sauce : Return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning the sauce over them. Let everything simmer together for 2-3 minutes so the chicken can absorb the flavors of the sauce.
  • Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle the dish with fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy hot, with your choice of pasta, rice, or steamed vegetables on the side.
