  • 2 cups Cooked Chicken Breast store-bought rotisserie chicken is a convenient shortcut
  • 8 ounces Rotini Pasta can substitute with penne or fusilli if preferred
  • 4 cups Romaine Lettuce wash and dry thoroughly

For the Dressing

  • 1 cup Caesar Dressing creamy, tangy, garlicky flavor
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese can substitute with pecorino Romano
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil for richness
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder fresh garlic can be used in adjusted quantity

For the Crunch

  • 1 cup Croutons homemade or store-bought
  • to taste Black Pepper season to taste
  • to taste Salt be cautious not to oversalt

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add the rotini pasta and cook according to the package instructions, about 8–10 minutes, until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  • In a small pan, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Sprinkle in the garlic powder and stir for about 30 seconds to blend flavors. Remove the pan from heat and cool.
  • Dice the cooked chicken breast into bite-sized pieces on a cutting board.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled rotini pasta, diced chicken, and chopped Romaine lettuce. Toss gently to mix.
  • Drizzle the Caesar dressing over the salad mixture and fold in to coat everything evenly.
  • Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the salad and toss gently to combine.
  • Top with croutons and fold in, or leave them on top for presentation.
  • Season with black pepper and salt to taste. Serve immediately or chill for up to an hour before serving.

Notes

Store croutons separately if refrigerating the salad to maintain crunchiness. Prepare a day in advance for enhanced flavor.
