Ingredients

  • 3 medium apples e.g., Granny Smith or Honeycrisp, diced
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream or whipped topping
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt or sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup optional, for a touch of sweetness
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice to keep the apples from oxidizing

Instructions

  • Prepare the Apples : Wash, core, and dice the apples into bite-sized pieces. Toss the diced apples with the lemon juice in a large bowl to prevent browning.
  • Make the Dressing : In a separate bowl, combine the whipped cream (or whipped topping) with the Greek yogurt (or sour cream). For a sweeter flavor, mix in some honey or maple syrup to taste. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  • Assemble the Salad : Drizzle the creamy dressing over the apples and carefully toss to ensure each piece is evenly coated.
  • Chill and Serve : Cover and refrigerate the salad for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Serve chilled as a standalone dish or alongside your favorite meal.
