Ingredients

For the Meatballs:

  • 500 g ground turkey
  • 60 g breadcrumbs
  • 25 g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 15 g chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for cooking

For the Cranberry Glaze:

  • 240 g cranberry sauce
  • 20 g honey
  • 15 g Dijon mustard
  • 15 g apple cider vinegar
  • 1 g ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Mix the Meatball Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until well combined.
  • Shape the Meatballs: Roll the mixture into meatballs, about 1½ inches in diameter, and set them aside on a plate or tray.
  • Brown the Meatballs: Warm the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the meatballs in batches, turning occasionally, for 8–10 minutes until browned on all sides and cooked through. Transfer the cooked meatballs to a plate.
  • Prepare the Sauce: In the same skillet, whisk together cranberry sauce, honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, and ground cinnamon. Simmer over medium heat for 3–4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce is smooth and slightly thickened.
  • Coat the Meatballs: Add the cooked meatballs back into the skillet with the glaze.
  • Serve Hot : Transfer the glazed meatballs to a serving dish and garnish with additional parsley if desired. Serve hot as an appetizer with toothpicks or as a main dish with rice, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables.
