  • 12 rolls Kings Hawaiian Savory Butter Rolls or substitute with regular rolls
  • 4 oz Deli Sliced Ham can substitute with turkey
  • 4 oz Deli Sliced Salami any cured meat will work
  • 4 oz Deli Sliced Pepperoni spicy or mild options are available
  • 4-6 oz Smoked Provolone Cheese any good melting cheese can be used

For the Toppings

  • 8 oz Shredded Lettuce coloslaw mix can be used
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise Greek yogurt for a lighter option
  • 1/4 cup Red Onion green onions for a milder alternative
  • 1/2 cup Dill Pickles any pickled product can work
  • 1/2 cup Pickled Banana Peppers bell peppers for a milder taste

For the Dressing

  • 3 tbsp Submarine Dressing homemade mix can be used

For Finishing Touches

  • 2 tbsp Butter or olive oil as an alternative
  • 1 tbsp Dried Italian Seasoning homemade blend can be used

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and gather your ingredients.
  • Slice the Kings Hawaiian rolls in half and spread mayonnaise on the bottom halves, then place in an oven-safe tray.
  • Chop the deli meats into bite-sized pieces and heat them in a skillet over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
  • In a bowl, mix the chopped lettuce, red onion, dill pickles, banana peppers, and submarine dressing until well-coated.
  • Layer provolone cheese on the toasted bottom halves, add warmed deli meats, and then replace the top halves.
  • Mix melted butter with Italian seasoning and brush it over the top rolls, then return them to the oven for another 5-7 minutes.
  • Spread the prepared salad mixture over the deli meats, replace the top buns, and let sit before slicing for serving.

Notes

Toast the bottom buns to prevent sogginess. Assemble sliders a few hours in advance. Serve warm for best flavor.
