- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs optional, for texture
- 2 tablespoons ranch seasoning mix
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil or cooking spray for grilling or frying
Prepare the Burger Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, shredded cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs (if using), ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until everything is evenly combined, but avoid overmixing to keep the burgers tender.
Form the Patties: Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each into a patty about 1/2 inch thick.
Preheat and Grease the Grill or Pan: Preheat your grill to medium heat, or heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grill or spray the skillet with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
Cook the Burgers: Place the patties on the grill or skillet and cook for about 5–6 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F and the outside is golden brown. Avoid pressing down on the burgers to retain their juices.
Serve and Enjoy: Serve the burgers on toasted buns with your favorite toppings like lettuce, tomato, and a dollop of ranch dressing for extra flavor.
