- 1 lb 450 g chicken tenders
- ½ cup 100 g brown sugar
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 8 –10 strips of bacon
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
Prepare the Brown Sugar Mixture: In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix well.
Wrap the Chicken Tenders: Wrap each chicken tender with a strip of bacon, starting at one end and overlapping slightly as you go. Secure with a toothpick if needed.
Coat with Brown Sugar Mixture: Roll each bacon-wrapped chicken tender in the brown sugar mixture, pressing lightly to help it adhere. Arrange each piece on the prepared baking tray.
Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the chicken is cooked through. To achieve an extra crispy finish, turn on the broiler for the final 2–3 minutes, keeping a close eye to avoid burning.
Serve: Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm. These tenders are delicious on their own or with a dipping sauce of your choice.
