For the Salmon:
- 1 ½ pounds salmon about 4 filets, skins removed, cut into 1-inch bites
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
For the Bang Bang Sauce:
- 1 cup 232 g mayonnaise
- ½ cup 132 g Thai sweet chili sauce
- 2 teaspoons Sriracha or more to taste
- 2 tablespoons honey
For Garnish:
- Fresh chives finely chopped
Season the Salmon: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). In a large bowl, toss the salmon bites with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, kosher salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
Air Fry the Salmon: Place the seasoned salmon bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded. Air fry for 7-9 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the salmon bites are golden and slightly crispy on the outside but tender on the inside.
Prepare the Bang Bang Sauce: While the salmon is cooking, mix mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, and honey in a medium bowl until smooth and well combined. Adjust the Sriracha for desired heat.
Coat or Drizzle: Once the salmon bites are done, drizzle them generously with the Bang Bang sauce or toss them lightly in the sauce for full coverage.
Garnish and Serve: Garnish with fresh chopped chives and serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.
