Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup mayo
  • 1/3 cup sweet chili sauce such as Frank's
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons sriracha adjust to taste for spice level
  • 1 pound salmon cut into 2 to 4 fillets
  • Kosher salt to taste
  • Optional: parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare the Bang Bang Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the mayo, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha. Adjust the amount of sriracha based on your spice preference. Set aside.
  • Season the Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Lightly season both sides with kosher salt.
  • Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3 minutes. This ensures the salmon cooks evenly.
  • Coat the Salmon: Brush a thin layer of the bang bang sauce over each salmon fillet, covering them evenly. Reserve the remaining sauce for serving.
  • Air Fry the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, skin-side down (if applicable), ensuring they do not touch each other. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets, or until the salmon reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Serve: Remove the salmon from the air fryer and let it rest for a minute. Drizzle with the remaining bang bang sauce and garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.
  • Enjoy: Serve the Bang Bang Salmon with your favorite sides such as rice, steamed vegetables, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
