    • Rinse thoroughly with cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
  • Marinate the Beef:

    • Mince the garlic and chili pepper.
  • Cook the Beef:

    • Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a wok or skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Stir-fry the marinated beef for 5-7 minutes until browned.
    • Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • Stir-Fry the Vegetables:

    • In the same skillet, add a little more oil if needed.
    • Stir-fry ginger and sliced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
    • Add onions and bell peppers, cooking for 3-4 minutes.
    • Add minced garlic and chili pepper, stir-frying for 1 more minute.
  • Combine Everything:

    • Return the cooked beef to the skillet.
    • Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and water, then pour into the pan.
    • Stir until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and vegetables.
    • Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  • Serve & Enjoy:

    • Remove from heat and serve immediately over steamed rice or noodles.

Notes

  • Tenderizing Tip: The baking soda method makes beef extra soft. Rinse well to remove excess soda.
  • Make it Spicier: Add extra chili flakes, Sriracha, or fresh jalapeños.
  • Vegetable Variations: Swap bell peppers for broccoli, carrots, or snap peas.
  • Storage: Keep leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • Reheating: Reheat in a pan for 3-5 minutes or microwave for 1-2 minutes.
