Instructions

1. Cook the Pasta:

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil.
  • Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente.
  • Drain the pasta and set it aside.

2. Cook the Ground Beef:

  • In a large frying pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add the chopped onion and sauté for about 3–4 minutes until softened.
  • Add the ground beef, breaking it up into smaller pieces as it cooks. Cook until browned and fully cooked through.

3. Add Garlic and Tomatoes:

  • Reduce the heat to medium and stir in the minced garlic. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add the diced tomatoes (including their juices), tomato paste, Dijon mustard, and Italian seasoning. Mix well to combine.

4. Make the Cream Sauce:

  • Lower the heat to medium-low and pour in the heavy cream.

  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

5. Combine and Serve:
