  • small onion, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ tablespoon Creole seasoning
  • ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 ribeye steaks
  • 1 tablespoon complete seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Fresh thyme and rosemary, to taste

Instructions

  • Bake the Potato

    • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
    • Scrub the russet potato, prick it with a fork, and place it directly on the oven rack.
    • Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until fork-tender.
  • Cook the Vegetables

    • In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter.
    • Add diced bell pepper and onion, and sauté for 5-7 minutes until soft.
    • Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 more minute. Remove from heat.
  • Prepare the Steak

    • Season the ribeye steaks with complete seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
    • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook the steaks for 4-5 minutes per side.
    • Add fresh thyme, rosemary, and butter, and baste the steak for extra flavor.
    • Remove from heat and let rest before slicing.
  • Make the Cheese Sauce

    • In the same skillet, lower the heat and add heavy cream and Creole seasoning.
