- 2 teaspoons finely chopped onion
- ¾ cup plain Greek yogurt
- ¾ cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 small clove garlic, grated
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1½ teaspoons chopped fresh dill
Instructions
- Prepare the Cucumber:
- Peel the cucumber, slice it in half, and remove the seeds.
- Chop it into small chunks and sprinkle with kosher salt.
- Place in a strainer and let it sit for 10 minutes to remove excess moisture.
- Pat dry with a paper towel.
- Mix the Ingredients:
- In a medium bowl, combine Greek yogurt, sour cream, and mayonnaise.
- Add grated garlic, garlic powder, finely chopped onion, and fresh dill.
- Stir until smooth and well combined.
- Fold in the Cucumber:
- Add the drained cucumber to the mixture and gently fold it in.
- Taste and adjust the seasoning with more salt, garlic, or dill, if needed.
- Chill and Serve:
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to blend.
- Serve chilled as a dip, spread, or sauce.
Notes
- Use full-fat Greek yogurt for a thicker, creamier texture.
- For extra tanginess, add a squeeze of lemon juice or white vinegar.
- Store in the fridge for up to 4 days in an airtight container.
- Not freezer-friendly due to the yogurt and cucumber’s high water content.
- Great for meal prep! Make it ahead of time to allow the flavors to develop.
