  • 6 slices of toasted bread
  • 6 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices of chicken, ham, or roasted vegetables (such as eggplant or zucchini)
  • 60g parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cherry tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • 6 large eggs
  • Fresh dill, for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Dish

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Lightly grease a baking dish or six individual ramekins with vegetable oil.

2. Assemble the Base

  • Place one slice of toasted bread at the bottom of each ramekin (or in a baking dish).
  • Top each bread slice with cheddar cheese, letting it slightly melt.

3. Add Protein or Vegetables

  • Layer your choice of chicken, ham, or roasted vegetables over the cheese.

4. Add Eggs and Parmesan

  • Crack an egg on top of each stack, keeping the yolk intact.
  • Sprinkle generously with grated parmesan.

5. Add Cherry Tomatoes

  • Place thin slices of cherry tomato over each egg.

6. Bake to Perfection

  • Bake for 12-15 minutes:
