Ingredients
- Vegetable oil (for greasing)
- 6 slices of toasted bread
- 6 slices of cheddar cheese
- 6 slices of chicken, ham, or roasted vegetables (such as eggplant or zucchini)
- 60g parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 cherry tomatoes, thinly sliced
- 6 large eggs
- Fresh dill, for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Dish
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Lightly grease a baking dish or six individual ramekins with vegetable oil.
2. Assemble the Base
- Place one slice of toasted bread at the bottom of each ramekin (or in a baking dish).
- Top each bread slice with cheddar cheese, letting it slightly melt.
3. Add Protein or Vegetables
- Layer your choice of chicken, ham, or roasted vegetables over the cheese.
4. Add Eggs and Parmesan
- Crack an egg on top of each stack, keeping the yolk intact.
- Sprinkle generously with grated parmesan.
5. Add Cherry Tomatoes
