Description

Start your day the right way with quick and tasty breakfast sandwiches for busy mornings! This easy recipe brings together savory ham, fresh vegetables, melted cheese, and perfectly cooked eggs on a warm, toasted bun. It’s the ultimate grab-and-go breakfast that’s filling, nutritious, and incredibly delicious.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 100g ham, sliced
  • 1 small cucumber, sliced
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 100g cheese, sliced
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise or sour cream
  • Hamburger buns, split
  • Some ketchup
  • Extra cheese for topping (optional)

Instructions

  • Cook the Eggs – Heat a small skillet over medium heat. Crack the eggs into the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook to your preferred doneness (fried or scrambled). Set aside.
  • Toast the Buns – Lightly toast the hamburger buns in a toaster or skillet until golden and crispy.
  • Assemble the Sandwiches – Spread mayonnaise or sour cream on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Layer with ham, cucumber slices, and tomato slices. Add the cooked eggs and a slice of cheese. Drizzle with ketchup for extra flavor.
  • Optional Extra Cheese Topping – If you want a gooey, cheesy finish, add extra cheese on top and broil in the oven for 2 minutes until melted.
  • Serve and Enjoy – Place the top half of the bun on the sandwich and serve immediately while warm.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients – Crisp vegetables and quality ham enhance the flavor.
Toast the buns well – Prevents sogginess and adds a delicious crunch.
Experiment with sauces – Try garlic aioli, mustard, or hot sauce for variety.
Make-ahead option – Wrap in foil and reheat in a toaster oven for busy mornings.
