Quick and Easy Garlic Bread Knots are made withrefrigerated biscuit dough and brushed with a flavorful garlic herb butter, then baked to golden perfection. Serve them with pizza sauce for dipping, andyou have a tasty side or snack ready in under 20 minutes!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 16.3-ounce can refrigerated buttermilk biscuits (Pillsbury Homestyle preferred)
  • 5 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 teaspoons garlic salt
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • Pizza sauce (for serving (optional))

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  • Prepare the Biscuit Dough: Open the can of biscuits, separate the pieces, and cut each one in half. Roll each portion into a rope about 6–8 inches long and tie it into a loose knot.
  • Arrange on the Baking Sheet: Place the knots on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each one.
  • Make the Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic salt, dried oregano, parsley, and crushed red pepper flakes.
  • Brush the Knots: Generously brush the garlic butter mixture over the knots, coating them completely. Reserve some butter for after baking if desired.
  • Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 10–12 minutes, or until the knots are golden brown and cooked through.
  • Add Parmesan: Immediately sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the hot knots for added flavor.
  • Serve Warm: Enjoy the knots as a side dish or appetizer. Dip them in pizza sauce for extra flavor.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, increase the amount of crushed red pepper flakes.
  • To make vegan garlic knots, use plant-based butter, skip the Parmesan, and choose a vegan-friendly biscuit dough.
  • Leftover knots can be stored at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerated for up to a week. Reheat in a 350°F (175°C) oven to refresh their texture.
