Description

Indulge in a quick and satisfying dinner with this One Pan Chicken Noodles recipe. Tender chicken, creamy noodles, and a touch of Parmesan come together in a single skillet for a comforting, flavorful meal the whole family will love!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken
    • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
    • Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
    • Add chicken to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from the pan and set aside.
  2. Sauté the Garlic
    • In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Be careful not to burn it.
  3. Create the Creamy Base
    • Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir well and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  4. Cook the Noodles
    • Add the egg noodles to the skillet. Cover and cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the noodles are tender and have absorbed the flavors.
  5. Add the Finishing Touches
    • Stir in butter and Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined. The sauce will thicken and coat the noodles beautifully.
  6. Reintroduce the Chicken
    • Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, nestling it into the noodles. Let it warm through for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Garnish and Serve
    • Sprinkle fresh parsley over the dish for a pop of color and freshness. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use room-temperature chicken for even cooking.
  • Stir the noodles occasionally to prevent sticking.
  • Add a splash of chicken broth or cream if the sauce becomes too thick.
