- 1 teaspoon onion powder

- 1 cup BBQ sauce (adjust sweetness to taste)
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken:
- Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
- Brush each piece with olive oil to ensure even coating.
- Season the Chicken:
- In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Rub the seasoning blend evenly over the chicken.
- Preheat the Grill:
- Heat your grill to medium-high (375–400°F).
- Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
- Grill the Chicken:
- Place chicken thighs skin-side down on the grill.
- Grill for 5–7 minutes until the skin is crisp and golden. Flip and grill for another 5–7 minutes.
- Add BBQ Sauce:
- Brush BBQ sauce over the chicken during the last 5 minutes of cooking.
- Flip and brush the other side, letting the sauce caramelize.
- Check for Doneness:
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Rest and Serve:
- Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side if desired.
