Ingredients

Scale

For the Cauliflower

  • 1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For the Maple Sriracha Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger powder (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Optional Garnishes

  • Chopped green onions
  • Sesame seeds
  • Fresh cilantro or parsley

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven – Set your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Prepare the Cauliflower – In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
  • Roast – Spread the cauliflower in a single layer on the baking sheet. Roast for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  • Make the Sauce – In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic powder, ginger powder, and sesame oil.
  • Coat the Cauliflower – Transfer the roasted cauliflower to a large bowl, pour the Maple Sriracha Sauce over it, and toss until evenly coated.
  • Serve & Garnish – Sprinkle with sesame seeds, green onions, and fresh herbs. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • For Extra Crispiness: Add 2 tablespoons cornstarch to the cauliflower before roasting.
  • Adjusting Heat: Reduce sriracha for a milder version, or add red pepper flakes for extra spice.
  • Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for best results.
  • Serving Suggestions: Serve with rice, quinoa, lettuce wraps, or as a taco filling for a delicious twist!
