- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
Instructions

- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or lightly greasing it.
Step 2: Prepare the Crescent Rolls
- Open the crescent dough and separate it into individual triangles.
- Cut each triangle in half to create smaller triangles.
Step 3: Wrap the Smokies
- Place one Lit’l Smokie sausage at the wide end of each crescent triangle.
- Roll the dough around the sausage, starting at the wide end and wrapping it fully. Repeat for all sausages.
Step 4: Make the Glaze
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Stir in the spicy Dijon mustard, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Allow the mixture to simmer for 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the glaze thickens slightly.
Step 5: Brush and Sprinkle
- Arrange the wrapped Smokies on the prepared baking sheet.
- Generously brush the glaze over each piece using a pastry brush.
- Sprinkle poppy seeds evenly over the tops.
Step 6: Bake
- Bake the pigs in a blanket for 12–15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and crispy.
- Keep an eye on them during the last few minutes to prevent overbaking.

- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
- Serve warm with an extra side of spicy Dijon mustard for dipping, if desired.
Notes
- Use cold crescent dough for easier handling.
- Customize the glaze with a touch of hot sauce or cayenne pepper for extra heat.
