  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups (360 ml) heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup (50 g) Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (+ extra for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta:
    • Boil salted water and cook pasta until al dente. Drain and reserve 1 cup of pasta water. Set aside.
  2. Prepare the Chicken:
    • Season chicken pieces with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
    • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes until golden and cooked through.
    • Add butter and minced garlic, stirring to coat the chicken in garlic butter. Cook for 1-2 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
  3. Make the Sauce:
    • In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute.
    • Stir in heavy cream, bringing to a gentle simmer.
    • Add Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, stirring until the sauce thickens slightly.
  4. Combine Pasta and Sauce:
    • Toss cooked pasta into the skillet with the sauce, mixing well.
    • Stir in fresh parsley and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
