- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
Instructions
1. Prepare the Potatoes
- Peel and grate the potatoes into a large mixing bowl.
- Place the grated potatoes in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out excess moisture. This helps to make them extra crispy.
2. Mix the Ingredients
- In a bowl, combine the grated potatoes, cornstarch, grated mozzarella cheese, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper.
- Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
3. Shape the Potato Squares
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a thin layer of olive oil.
- Spoon small portions of the mixture into the skillet and press down to form square shapes.
4. Fry Until Golden Brown
- Cook the potato squares for 3-4 minutes on each side until they turn golden brown and crispy.
- Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to absorb any excess oil.
5. Make the Dipping Sauce (Optional)
- In a small bowl, whisk together the sour cream, ketchup, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, and mayonnaise until smooth.
