- 1 pound ground chuck
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 24 ounces pasta sauce
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) beef broth
- 1 cup water
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes (with juices)
- 1 can (10 ounces) Rotel tomatoes (undrained)
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 package frozen mixed vegetables
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Cook the Ground Beef and Onion
- Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
- Add the ground chuck and diced onion. Cook, crumbling the beef, until browned and no longer pink.
- Drain the grease and transfer the beef-onion mixture to your crockpot.
- Add the Remaining Ingredients
- Layer in the pasta sauce, beef broth, water, diced tomatoes, Rotel tomatoes, ketchup, cubed potatoes, frozen mixed vegetables, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, crushed red pepper flakes, and black pepper.
- Stir well to combine.
- Cook in the Crockpot
- Cover the crockpot with its lid and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 5–6 hours.
- Check and Adjust
- Before serving, taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt or pepper if needed.
