Description

Crispy Almond Flour Crackers are a healthy and delicious snack option made with almond flour and various seasonings, perfect for satisfying your cravings without the guilt.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • Optional: sesame seeds or herbs for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and baking powder. Mix well.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, olive oil, and water until fully combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  5. Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll it out to about 1/8 inch thick.
  6. Remove the top sheet of parchment and cut the dough into squares or desired shapes using a pizza cutter or knife.
  7. If desired, sprinkle sesame seeds or herbs on top of the crackers for added flavor.
  8. Transfer the parchment with the cut crackers onto the baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  9. Allow the crackers to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For added flavor, try incorporating different spices such as paprika or Italian seasoning into the dough.
  • You can also experiment with different toppings like cheese or seeds before baking for a unique twist.
  • Store any leftover crackers in an airtight container to maintain their crispiness.
