Description
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 ounces cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Marinara sauce for dipping (optional)
Instructions
- If using frozen tortellini, cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and let cool for a few minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked tortellini, olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the tortellini are evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place the tortellini in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to work in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Cook the tortellini for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
- Once cooked, remove the tortellini from the air fryer and immediately sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
- Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping, if desired.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the seasoning mix.
- Experiment with different cheeses by using a blend of mozzarella and cheddar for a unique flavor.
