Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup cooked rice (optional)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  3. Stir in the shredded chicken, chopped spinach, and cooked rice (if using) until everything is evenly coated with the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream.
  • You can also add chopped bell peppers or mushrooms for extra veggies.
  • For a spicy kick, mix in some diced jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce.
