- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup cooked rice (optional)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix until smooth and well combined.
- Stir in the shredded chicken, chopped spinach, and cooked rice (if using) until everything is evenly coated with the cream cheese mixture.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and spread it out evenly.
- Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream.
- You can also add chopped bell peppers or mushrooms for extra veggies.
- For a spicy kick, mix in some diced jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce.
