  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • ½ cup Asiago cheese, grated

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven & Prepare the Onions
    • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
    • Peel onions and slice them into ¼-inch thick rings.
    • Separate the onion rings and place them in a greased 9×9-inch baking dish.
  • Season the Onions
    • Drizzle onions with olive oil, then sprinkle with salt, black pepper, and thyme.
  • Prepare the Creamy Sauce
    • In a bowl, whisk together heavy cream and Dijon mustard.
    • Pour the mixture evenly over the onions.
  • Add the Asiago Cheese
    • Sprinkle grated Asiago cheese over the top for a rich, nutty flavor.
  • Bake Until Golden and Bubbling
    • Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
    • Remove foil and bake for another 15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  • Serve & Enjoy!
    • Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
