- ½ cup sliced bell peppers
- ½ cup sliced black olives (optional)
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the Egg Wash & Cooking:
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Prepare the Filling
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add diced onions and minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant.
- Add ground beef, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, and cook until browned.
- Stir in sliced bell peppers and black olives (if using), cooking for another 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
- Roll Out the Dough
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle.
- Assemble the Bread Roll
- Evenly spread the ground beef mixture over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese on top.
- Roll the dough into a tight log, starting from one of the long edges.
