With gooey cheese, fragrant garlic, and golden crescent roll dough, this recipe is quick to prepare yet delivers indulgent flavor. Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (plus more for garnish)
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Make the Filling:
    • In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, minced garlic, and 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley.
    • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix until well combined.
  3. Prepare the Crescent Dough:
    • Open the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles along the perforated lines.
  4. Fill and Roll:
    • Spoon 1–2 tablespoons of the cheese mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
    • Roll the dough tightly, starting from the wide end and tucking in the filling as you roll toward the tip.
  5. Arrange on the Baking Sheet:
    • Place the rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between them.
  6. Add Garlic Butter:
    • In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic powder.
    • Brush the tops of the rolls generously with the garlic butter.
  7. Bake:
    • Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for 10–12 minutes, or until they’re golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
  8. Garnish and Serve:
    • Remove the rolls from the oven and sprinkle with additional fresh parsley.
    • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • Keep Dough Cold: Cold dough is easier to handle and less likely to tear.
  • Seal Tightly: Pinch the seams of the dough to prevent the filling from leaking out during baking.
  • Customizations: Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick or mix in cooked bacon bits for extra flavor.
  • Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
