Ingredients
Scale
For the Chicken:
- 2 large chicken breasts (diced)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
For the Wraps:
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 large flour tortillas
- ½ cup creamy garlic sauce
- Fresh parsley (chopped (for garnish))
Instructions
- Cook the Chicken: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the diced chicken breasts, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and lightly browned. Remove from heat.
- Prepare the Cheese: In a bowl, combine the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses. Set aside.
- Assemble the Wraps: Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread 2 tablespoons of creamy garlic sauce over the center of the tortilla. Add a generous scoop of cooked chicken on top of the sauce. Sprinkle a handful of the cheese mixture over the chicken.
- Fold the Wraps: Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll it tightly into a wrap. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and fillings.
- Heat the Wraps: Heat a clean skillet over medium heat. Place the wraps seam-side down in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until the tortilla is golden and the cheese inside is melted.
- Garnish and Serve: Remove the wraps from the skillet, slice them in half, and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve warm with extra creamy garlic sauce for dipping, if desired.
Notes
- Adjust the Seasoning: Feel free to tweak the garlic powder, paprika, or even add chili powder if you want a spicier flavor.
- Healthier Options: Use whole-wheat tortillas, low-fat cheese, or replace creamy garlic sauce with Greek yogurt mixed with garlic and lemon juice for a lighter version.
- Storage: Store leftover wraps in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in a skillet for the best texture.
- Add Veggies: Diced bell peppers, spinach, or avocado slices make great additions for extra flavor and nutrients.
