Description
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 large baguette
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley (chopped (for garnish))
Instructions
- Prepare the Bread: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the baguette into bite-sized pieces, about 1 inch thick, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Make the Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
- Brush the Bread: Generously brush each piece of baguette with the garlic butter mixture, ensuring the tops and sides are well coated.
- Add the Cheese: Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the bread pieces. Make sure each bite gets a good amount of cheesy topping.
- Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the bread edges are golden brown.
- Garnish and Serve: Remove the bread bites from the oven and sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley. Serve immediately while warm and cheesy.
Notes
- Use freshly grated cheese for the best melting and flavor.
- Adjust garlic to your preference for a more subtle or bold taste.
- Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy twist.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
