Description

Indulge in the savory goodness of Cheesy Beach Bread Delight—a crispy baguette topped with creamy blue cheese dressing, juicy tomatoes, and gooey mozzarella cheese. Perfect for gatherings, a cozy night in, or simply satisfying a cheesy craving, this quick and easy recipe will transport your taste buds straight to comfort food heaven.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 French baguette (1214 oz)
  • 6 tablespoons butter (room temperature)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ⅓ cup blue cheese dressing
  • ½ cup diced tomato
  • 2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Get the oven ready: Adjust your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or aluminum foil to make cleanup a breeze.
  2. Prepare the baguette: Slice the French baguette in half lengthwise to create two open halves. Arrange the halves on the lined baking sheet with the cut sides facing upward.
  3. Make the garlic butter: In a small bowl, mix the softened butter with garlic powder. Spread the garlic butter evenly over the cut sides of both baguette halves.
  4. Add the blue cheese dressing: Drizzle or spread the blue cheese dressing over the buttered baguette halves, ensuring an even coating for extra flavor.
  5. Top with tomatoes and cheese: Evenly distribute the diced tomatoes over the bread, followed by a generous layer of grated mozzarella cheese, covering the entire surface.
  6. Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly, and the edges of the bread are crispy.
  7. Finish with parsley and seasoning: Once out of the oven, sprinkle the freshly chopped parsley over the top, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve: Slice the bread into smaller pieces and serve hot. This dish is best enjoyed fresh out of the oven, with the cheese still gooey and delicious.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, try adding crumbled bacon or jalapeños before baking.
  • Leftovers can be reheated in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5–7 minutes.
  • You can replace the blue cheese dressing with ranch or garlic aioli for a milder taste.
